Top 7 Essential Oils for Pregnancy

This is probably my favorite blog topic. I want you to feel empowered to use EO’s safely and effectively during your pregnancy. I have studied and uses oils for two years, and have compiled these tips an tricks from master oiler slingers, and my favorite resource called “Gentle Babies” the oily book by Debra Rayburn. I understand every pregnancy, and every momma is different, but these are oils that I have seen be successful more times than not for expecting mommas. I hope you find this information helpful. Progessence Plus: This amazing blend is the holy grail of essential oils for women. This blend contains natural occurring progesterone sourced from wild yams. Thieves: Keeping your immune system up during pregnancy is crucial. Thieves contains cinnamon, clove, and lemon to support your immune system. Building this into your daily routine is recommended to help fight all the yuck during your pregnancy.

Frankincense: Frank is truly one of my favorite oils. This oil is grounding and calming when diffused or applied topically. This oil can help support an overall healthy pregnancy and immune system. It can also help balance your emotions and hormones. This oil covers all the bases and and is a necessity during pregnancy.

Lemon: If you have ever used essential oils, you are probably familiar with lemon oil. When sourced safely and properly, lemon oil can be added to water to combat morning sickness. Like peppermint, it can provide a wonderful energy support when diffused. A drop of lemon or peppermint inside of a surgical mask, can make the world of difference for smells during a belly birth.

Ginger: Ginger is wonderful for that late pregnancy heartburn. A drop of ginger topically or in your water, can relieve that pesky heartburn. Combined with peppermint, this can be the ultimate nausea combo.

There is a whole arsenal of essential oils that can benefit for pregnancy. Please remember to do your research and source your oils safely and properly. Essential oils are meant to improve and support pregnancy, not cause any additional problems.
